IT’S TIME FOR WOMEN
to own our voices
Join us for our Pacific Northwest Truthteller Tour, which takes place right on our own stomping grounds!
WHAT IS
a Truthteller Tour?
A Truthteller Tour is an empowering event of celebrating and giving voice to our experiences: stories of triumph, devastating loss, and everything in between. Through sharing, we discover common ground, hope, meaning, and inspiration.
Each tour is a special evening of connecting with like-hearted women, rewriting our stories of victimhood, tapping into our freedom, and discovering and elevating our voices in sisterhood and solidarity. Three to five women selected by the Wf1 team will share their stories and spark dialogue and opportunities for connection that could last a lifetime.
The PACIFIC NORTHWEST
Truthteller Tour
Join us at the Kirkland Performance Center on April 28! Proceeds from Wf1’s Pacific Northwest Truthteller Tour will be donated to Washington Women in Need—an organization that supports and uplifts diverse communities, right here in the Pacific Northwest.
We’re also thrilled to announce a special guest speaker at the Truthteller Tour: award-winning writer, speaker, actress, and author of the critically acclaimed memoir I Am Yours, Reema Zaman. I Am Yours is the story of her unwavering fight to protect and free her voice from those that sought to silence her. Beginning in Bangladesh, moving into Thailand, then New York, and finally, Oregon, I Am Yours is an iconic, definitive book on the female—and the human—condition. Reema and her memoir have been featured in the New York Times, Ms. magazine, Vogue, the Guardian, Salon, and Guernica, among others.
The Pacific Northwest Truthteller Tour follows on the heels of Wf1’s inaugural Your Messy Brilliance® Retreat, which is another awesome opportunity to dive into the beauty of sisterhood, collaboration, and owning your voice. Empower yourself in 2019 and join us for both the tour and the retreat!

About the speakers
Angela Caceres (Temecula, CA) is a personal development educator who helps others in their journeys to self-discovery, empowering them to live at their greatest potential with deep connection and authenticity. Angela specializes in a unique Equine Assisted Personal Development modality. Find out more about her at www.angelacaceres.com.
Audrey Phillips (Woodinville, WA) is an entrepreneur with high hopes of making the world a more connected place. Find out more about this project at 365MeaningfulConversations.com.
Beth Halleck (Winona, MN) has a long history of choosing the less-traveled path. She is passionate about finding unique connections and fitting pieces together—in puzzles, in relationships, and in life. Beth’s story is about an unusual step she took after the death of her son that began a process of healing and transformation. She draws strength from the John Wayne quote, “Courage is being scared to death and saddling up anyway.”
Jaylin Harris (Seattle, WA) is a young entrepreneur who dreams of one day singing on stages around the world. She spends her time being a full-time student at Hamlin Robinson, a specialized program for students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. Outside of school, Jaylin makes unique creations for her business, including button earrings, ties, and acrylic paintings. Find out more about her at creationsbyjaylin.bigcartel.com.
Judy Lee (Seattle, WA) is a Transformative Portrait Photographer. She is most passionate about creating spaces for women to show up as their most authentic selves and to see their inherent self-worth. Her story is about her inner journey into her shadows, and learning to embrace and love herself unconditionally. Her greatest teachers are her children, both adopted, who have given her the most difficult and rewarding lessons about who she is and the purpose of life. To find out more about Judy, visit judyleephotography.com.
Lisa Del Rey (Kent, WA) is the Founder of Black Tie Makeup Studios, a company that empowers women through beauty. A native Angeleno, Lisa and her husband Mauricio live with their three cats, Tito, Salsa, and Queso. You can learn more about Lisa and her journey by visiting www.blacktiemakeup.com.
Nikki Gane (Seattle, WA) is the Founder and Executive Director of Dignity for Divas. Twelve years ago, she reclaimed her life after fleeing an abusive relationship and experiencing homelessness. Recognizing how easy it is to lose one’s dignity and self-worth during such a traumatic time, Nikki was moved to help other women by starting her nonprofit in 2012. She is blessed to support women experiencing homelessness by empowering them to reclaim their life with strength and dignity. Find out more about Dignity for Divas and Nikki at www.dignityfordivas.org.

Women For One is a global community that supports women in sharing their stories, claiming their voices, and making life happen on their own terms. Aside from offering a digital platform for women to share their written stories, we’ve created a number of resources that foster women’s leadership and self-expression. These include interactive courses created especially for our tribe, signature events such as our community-centered Truthteller Tour, in-person workshops and corporate training across the country, ebooks, and inspiring daily newsletters.
Women For One also hosts a popular podcast, Your Messy Brilliance® Show, in which founder Kelly McNelis shares the insights of bold changemakers—from the late Dr. Maya Angelou to Glennon Doyle—who aren’t afraid to make a little mess. We reach more than 630,000 women from over 60 countries across the world who follow Women For One on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Google+, in addition to the 35,000 unique visitors per month that our website currently receives.
