Wf1’s Interview with Erin Weed, Founder of Girls Fight Back and Evoso
With a background in public relations and documentary production, Erin became an entrepreneur at age 22 in starting Girls Fight Back (GFB). A seminar production company launched after the murder of her college friend, GFB has become the premiere women’s personal safety education company in the world. GFB produces live seminars, speaking tours, books, magazine columns for CosmoGirl and an online crusade joined by over one million people. After twelve years, Erin sold GFB to Kirkland Productions in 2013.
Erin founded her next venture called Evoso. Specializing in the art and business of authentic public speaking, the Evoso team helps people own their stories, find their voice and speak their truth. A storyteller at heart with a keen intuition, Erin is a speaking coach for global TED and Ignite events. She is also a popular presenter and writer herself, encouraging audiences to speak their truth and change the world.
