The Great Amanda Palmer: A Courageous and Powerful Teacher for Women

When I first saw Amanda Palmer’s Ted Talk I promised myself I would reach out to her until she would sit down with me. Amanda Palmer is a shocking anomaly in this world – an extremely sensitive and brilliant individual who is committed to living and more importantly teaching her truth. I would label Amanda a teacher first and foremost… a teacher of acceptance, uniqueness and of the heart. She unapologetically and I believe many times, unknowingly, places herself in continual scrutiny by simply being AMANDA FUCKING PALMER (as she calls herself). Amanda Palmer is an American performer who first rose to prominence as the lead singer, pianist, and lyricist/composer of the duo The Dresden Dolls. She has had a successful solo career, is also one half of the duo Evelyn Evelyn, and is the lead singer and songwriter of Amanda Palmer and the Grand Theft Orchestra.
