Authentic & Inspired in 2013

Dear Women For One Community,

Welcome to the year 2013. Throughout the world, 2012 was an incredible time of expansion and growth for Women For One. At the end of 2011, I set my intent to “Go Global” and it manifested beyond my wildest dreams! Our Facebook reach is over 1.5 million users, 50 countries, many languages and all ages. NOW is the time for women to step into authenticity and to be inspired.

Currently, there is a quiet, interconnected movement occurring for women to step into their power and claim the authentic self they have been yearning to manifest. I often ask myself why we all keep our struggles and dreams to ourselves? Is it our fear of being judged? Or our fear of becoming all that we can be? We keep secrets so tightly wound up inside of us that it literally makes us physically ill. Where has our personal acceptance of the parts we hide and self-forgiveness gone?  Our culture does not revel in the beauty of openness, pain and growth. But now the shift that is occurring is allowing for more honesty. Can you feel it?

The Internet has created a space for all of us to share our deepest fears, beliefs, dreams and horrors with the billions of souls on this planet. It’s quite fascinating if you think of it. Our fear of intimacy (into me I see) is so great that many times it is easier for us to share our deepest wishes with complete strangers instead of the ones we love. This past year I asked myself and many others why it is so terrifying to share common struggles? Why are we taking so much of our energy to wear a mask and holding our idealized images of what we should be so tightly, that we actually forget who we really are?… What I like to call my being is LOVE. Some other people classify it as God, energy, source, soul, spirit. It’s all the same. We all have the exact same internal struggles.

So lets continue this conversation with ALL women, from as many cultures, ages, and perspectives as possible. Let’s collectively set our INTENT to move towards our AUTHENTIC SELF daily by being open, kind, transparent and present in our lives.

Wf1’s NEW VISION

We have such fabulous goals to reach throughout the year 2013. One great addition to our site is YOUTUBE SHARE (link coming soon on our home page). We are asking that women submit Youtube videos of themselves telling stories of wisdom and inspiration. We are also launching our first Women For One conference in the fall with experts leading sessions on the important issues that affect women today. Each of you will also be able to participate by sharing your experiences and NEW VISION of the life you are manifesting.

Here we are. In the moment of the rest of our lives. Ask yourself, are you ready to be inspired TODAY and MANIFEST a new VISION for your life? If so, join me and our community in this quiet, yet powerful MOVEMENT of stepping into our TRUTH and our inherent feminine nature of authenticity. It’s truly our soul’s purpose and it begins with YOU.

With Great Respect & Love,

  • Thank you for sharing all the stories in 2012. I know hearing other women’s stories gives me the courage to share my own story. Authenticity is such an important stance, I’m challenged daily to be more authentic and the inspiration often comes from one of your posts. Thank you for your courage and for helping us all to see our oneness. Peace
