Sisters Shining Together: An Interview with Cara Bradley

I am so stoked to bring you this conversation with a dear friend that I am proud to call a member of my inner tribe. Cara Bradley is a mom, yoga teacher, author, speaker, and passionate advocate for women. As the founder of Verge BodyMind Center in the Philadelphia area, Cara has shared her curiosity and enthusiasm for experiencing life fully for over 30 years. She is also podcast host of On The Verge, and the founder of Mindfulness Through Movement, a non-profit offering programs to schools in urban Philadelphia. Her book, On The Verge: Wake Up, Show Up, and Shine, came out earlier this year and is a testament to Cara’s key genius: seeing the potential in other women and helping them recognize their own brilliance.

From the moment we met, soon after Cara published her first blog with Women For One, Cara has been a dear sister to me. She  was also a wonderful advocate during the year I was writing my own first book, and together, we continue to gain inspiration from each other.

A self-described Italian chick from Brooklyn, Cara says, “We are already the best version of ourselves and it’s a matter of discovering that through presence and aliveness.”

Cara is also a Women For One Truthteller and the co-host of Women For One’s podcast, Real Women, Courageous Wisdom. I love the way she brings out the beauty and power of everyday women who are creating massive transformation in their lives and communities.
